Manor Lane #2

This loft extension sits opposite our previous work across the road.

Rather than replicate that design, we wanted to further enrich the Lee Manor Conservation Area. Using the cues of the cedar cladding on the existing ground floor extension, we wanted to combine zinc and cedar...a technical minefield; but, after a lot of on site head scratching and collaborative effort, the result is exactly what we were gunning for.

The extension has gone on to become a defining feature of this sensitive South East London Conservation Area.
